- Flickr is the most popular photo site in the world.
- It has lots of extra features, e.g. being social, groups (like the SWC group), comments on other people's photos, better but more complex photo organizer, the photo bar above.

- Picasa Web Albums has 1 GB plus of storage (loads),
- its simple and very easy to use
- it integrates very well with Picasa, which makes it very easy to upload photos.

- the free version is limited to 200 photos. Add any more and the old ones drop off the end. To upgrade to unlimited is about £15 a year.
- uploading photos isn't as easy as Picasa

- No social networking features, or advanced options
|

|
- if you're in to photography,
- if you only have a few photos, or are willing to pay an annual subscription
|
- if you've loads of photos, want something free and easy to use, or use Picasa already
- but don't need the extra things that Flickr offers
