SWC Walk Rota
- This is the provisional walk rota for 2008 as published in the Time Out books.
- Always check This Week's Walks as the actual rota is often changed to take account of last minute events, e.g.railway engineering work, bad weather, etc.
- Saturday Book 1 : The Relaxed, Vigorous, Main and Creative walks (as mentioned in the book) have all been replaced by a single walk.
- Saturday Book 2 : The Vigorous and Main walks (as mentioned in the books) have been replaced by a single walk.
- Sunday Walks : These are usually chosen by the walk coordinator, not according to the rota.

Notes
- Book 1 : The walk number is the same as the week number of the year, e.g. walk 1 in week 1.
- Book 2 : The Book 2 Saturday walk takes place according to the rota in the book.
- Book 2 : The notational Book 2 Sunday walk takes place 1 week (8 days) after the rota walk. However, the walk coordinator often chooses an alternative walk.
- Christmas : Walks do not take place on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or Boxing Day (trains!). So...
- If 24 Dec. is a Sunday : Sunday walks are moved to 27 Dec.
- If 24 - 26 Dec. is a Saturday : Saturday walk are moved to 27 Dec. and Sunday walks to 28 Dec.
- New Year : Walks take place on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day as normal.
