10 Day Forecast for Hollingbourne

Page loading ...

Chilly with rain soon arriving, becoming locally heavy this afternoon.

Today:

Cloudy, but mostly dry start, before outbreaks of light rain or drizzle becoming widespread by early afternoon. Later the rain will become heavy in places, especially south of London. Feeling chilly everywhere. Maximum Temperature 14C.

Tonight:

Overcast with spells of rain or drizzle, with the rain possibly heavy in places at first and again later tonight. Hill fog is likely over the highest ground. Minimum Temperature 6C.

Sunday:

Rain will become persistent and often heavy, before clearing eastward by mid afternoon as strong winds possibly develop across the far southeast. Mainly dry, bright and breezy conditions follow. Chilly. Maximum Temperature 12C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Dry, apart for any residual showers early Monday. Light winds and patchy cloud but also sunny spells. Chilly nights with ground frosts, perhaps localised air frosts. Daytime temperatures trending upwards.

Day 6 to 15

Through the remainder of September the weather should stay largely settled with long spells of sunshine and generally light winds. Northern and northwestern areas may be more changeable at times, with stronger winds and some outbreaks of rain, which may occasionally extend a little further east and south. Overnight, pockets of mist and fog are possible, especially in the south although it should remain mostly dry here. By day it will be warm for many, but some nights will be chilly with patchy frost possible. Into early October, many areas are likely to remain mostly settled, but it is likely to turn generally colder. Southern parts are likely to see the driest weather, but some wet and windy weather is possible in the north.

Day 16 to 30

Generally settled and drier conditions are likely to dominate across many parts of the UK during the beginning of this period, particularly across the south. This should bring a good deal of sunshine with any wet and windy weather, likely to be mostly confined to the north. Long nights will lead to a greater chance of fog and patchy frost, but the days will often be mild. Towards the middle of the month, there is considerable uncertainty in the forecast, with the chance that it may turn more unsettled across all parts, although this is most likely to be across the north.
