Looking from the outside in

To that which has always been

Looking from the inside out

See, hear, now, there is no separateness

-There is no separation

From this, the miracle of Existence

In this incarnation

Tears of fragility

Tears of surrender

Tentative footsteps of not-knowing-

-everything is included.

To my right on the earthen ridge

I see Nicholas in what looks like a woollen deerstalker cap

Over on my left, Evangeline

Maybe wondering how she made it

up the steep staircase of mud

In the city beyond the horizon,

people pretend to be fists when inside

They are open hands

Heart of the world exploding

Into the colours of autumn

-Golds, browns, yellows, pastel and bottle greens

In the mid-distance, white smoke billows up

From the belly-button of the Panorama

A train's pulsation

Like a heartbeat

A smile from Nicholas's shadowy

Face in the distance

If all faces were blurred

-They might look similar

A reminder that we're all One

Multiple expressions of the Totality.

Emanation of knowing-

I salute you

As you sit there seeing

How it all plays

Mirroring the fact that it no longer matters

How it all turned out

You, who are completely and solely alone

And completely, indisputably connected

I come to you-

I arrive with you

I stand at your door

Smiling, from the inside out.
