These walks:
- are available to print out and use for free (but not to edit, copy or use for commercial gain)
- are public transport friendly - most start and finish at train stations around an hour's travel from central London
- feature fine views, country pubs for lunch and tea shops for tea
- pass by many historic villages, churches and country houses
- have been devised by members of the Walking Club.
Most of the walks contain detailed walking instructions - no map required!
A few of them are "map walks" which require use of an Ordnance Survey (OS) map and compass (or GPS). OS 1:25,000 scale mapping can be printed for free from this website.
