Walk Notes

A northern coast to coast walk following the remains of the Roman Emperor Hadrian's fortified wall to keep out the Scots. Most of the walk is fairly gentle (if muddy at times). Parts of the walk are through suburbs of large cities, but the middle (with the best remains) is remote.

In Summer, the AD122 bus service runs along the route, allowing you to cherry pick the best parts of the route
