Fine, dry and sunny. Light winds, and feeling very warm.

Light winds and largely clear skies will lead to a fine and dry overnight period, though likely turning cool in some rural spots. Minimum Temperature 9C.

A fine, and largely sunny day is expected. Turning very warm or hot, especially away from the immediate coast, where it will feel a little fresher in any onshore breeze. Maximum Temperature 28C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Very warm, perhaps occasionally hot, with plenty of dry and sunny weather. However eastern parts likely a little cooler, especially along the Kent coast, due to a noticeable onshore breeze.

Day 6 to 15

The final few days of June will stay dry and sunny across the UK, with only the far north and northwest of Scotland seeing cloudier skies at times, and a chance of rain. Temperatures will continue to rise for all parts, but especially so across England and Wales where it will be hot. The heat may spark an isolated thunderstorm towards next weekend, but the chance of catching one will be low and the majority of the UK will stay fine and dry. As we head into the start of July, most areas should continue to see plenty of fine, sunny and very warm weather. Northern and western areas may however begin to see cloudier conditions pushing in, with the chance of some wet and windy weather here.

Day 16 to 30

It is too early to give any specific detail for July, but the likelihood is that we will see a good deal of dry and settled weather across many parts of the UK. There are some early indications that in the north and west, more changeable conditions could bring cloudier skies, and possibly some wet and windy weather at times. There is also the chance that the warm weather could lead to a few thunderstorms in the south of the UK, but on the whole it will be a mainly dry and warm picture.
