Initially following the Great Stour River, this is a walk of around 11 miles through typical Kentish scenery; there's hop fields and orchards before a possible lunch stop in Chartham Hatch. After that, it's on through woodlands, the parklands of the University of Kent before following the Stour again into Canterbury.
