Cookham Station
Cookham station on the Maidenhead to Marlow branch line. The Great Western railway still has many rather quirky branch lines that require the train to reverse en-route, this is one of them, with the train having to reverse at Bourne End. In this case because the line used to be a through route to High Wycombe and a branch line off that to Marlow. . Other examples include Plymouth to Gunnislake (which reverse at Bere Alston and used to be a route to Tavistock) and Liskeard to Looe (which reverses at Coombe).
The Turkey Farm
It's nearly Christmas and it's looking ominously empty!
Bourne End bridge
This rather rusty bridge carries the Maidenhead to Marlow railway line over the Thames.
Cookham Bridge
It has to be said, it's not the most attractive bridge on the Thames.
