Today:

After a rather chilly start, Friday will be another dry and fine day. At times the sunshine may turn a little hazy but it will feel warm, perhaps even a touch warmer than on Thursday. Maximum Temperature 21C.

Tonight:

After a dry and sunny evening a dry and mostly clear night will follow. It will turn rather chilly once more under clear skies. Minimum Temperature 9C.

Saturday:

A chilly, bright start will be followed by another dry and fine day with plenty of warm sunshine. The sunshine possibly turning hazy at times. Maximum Temperature 22C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Remaining fine and dry in general with plenty of warm or very warm sunshine. Each day is expected to feel a little warmer than the last.

Day 6 to 15

The final week of June will see plenty of dry and sunny weather across most of the UK, with only the far north and northwest seeing cloudier skies at times, with rain possible. With the fine weather, temperatures will continue to rise for all parts, but especially so in the south where it could turn hot. The heat may spark an isolated thunderstorm, with the risk increasing towards next weekend, especially over high ground, although the majority will stay dry. As we head into the start of July confidence reduces, but most areas should continue to see plenty of fine, sunny and very warm weather. Northern and some western areas may however begin to see cloudier conditions pushing in, with the chance of some rain and stronger winds here.

Day 16 to 30

Although confidence remains low through July, early indications bring a good deal of dry and settled weather across many parts of the UK. However, there are some signs that more changeable weather may develop at times, especially in the north, and possibly the west, potentially leading to cloud, stronger winds and some rain. Where it turns more changeable it will also become cooler, but where the dry and settled weather continues, it will remain very warm, especially in the south and southeast.
