Arundel to Amberley 1

Nailed to a tree in Arundel Park: "High on the hill, let my ashes lye neath Stormy Clouds or Sun drenched Sky up there my heart takes wing Just to hear the Skylark Sing In Sight of the rolling hills And the Sea. Let me lye in peace eternally" Evidently anonymous; an epitaph, perhaps? 11 August '07.

  • When zoomed in, try the excellent "Bird's Eye View", or inside the M25, "London Street Map"
  • Ordnance Survey (OS) mapping is available for mainland GB, and (OS Landranger only) the Isle of Man.
  • For Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or (Southern) Ireland, try Open Cycle Map (Outdoor Layer). Set maps to Google then select OCM from the list of 'layers'.
