A lovely, peaceful walk in the Northern Cotswolds. 'Officially', 12.3 miles but this walker recorded 15.9 on the 'standard' walk.
This is a 'map walk' and requires associated skills. From Moreton, the walk follows the 'Diamond way', via Aston Magna, and other paths to lunch in Paxford. The walking is relatively flat and easy-going.
After lunch, it's easy-going to Broad Campden and then a steady incline to join the 'Heart of England Way'. This takes the walker on to the lovely village of Blockley, and the descent across relatively level fields back into Moreton.
This was one of the few walks that I've done in this series that wasn't disturbed by aircraft noise - delightful!
Well worth the trip out from Paddington.
