This was a very pleasant 11.5 mile 'literary walk' in the Northern Hills of Hampshire. It focuses on the landscape that the author Jane Austen would have known for the first 25 years of her life. It passes the site of her former home in Steventon and the church where her father was the vicar.

Early on in the walk, the source of the River Test is passed; one of the 200 or so global chalk streams.

Lunch is had in the tranquility of Steventon churchyard, though a pub option is available a few miles further on.

The post-lunch leg is mainly along field boundaries, but there is a section of quiet road walking just after North Waltham. There is also an organic Buffalo farm en route.

A very nice walk, with good and informative instructions. Good weather and walking surfaces also helped.

(There appears to be some 'pausing' of the film towards the end; unsure if this is the new SD card, or my camera, which is nearly a decade old now. Might need updating, but let's see).
