A return, after 13 years, for an update of this very pleasant 12 miler around Saunderton, Buckinghamshire (officially 10.7 miles).

It was an a cloudy start, with hardly any breeze, but it did brighten up later.

There's a short section of lane walking, prior to joining paths along field edges, passing an old works and then a slow ascent on the Ridgeway to Lodge Hill for some fine views. This path, and the Chiltern Way, then take the walker into the village of Bledlow, where lunch is had in a wonderful garden, behind the church. There is also a pub option.

Thereafter, it's a slow ascent up Chinnor Hill to reach the highest point of today's walk, before a slow descent across fields and along byways to reach the church at Radnage. There's a steep climb shortly afterwards, in Yoesden Wood (which might be avoided by sticking to the Chiltern way?), and then further field edge paths and crossings of paddocks before re-joining the lane back to the station.

A very decent afternoon's walking, though there are one or two places where the GPX track might be wrong, or it might be better to take a different option.

    Paths in good order today.

(The tiny 'moths' were in fact 'Whiteflies', and the dead mouse is believed to be a Wood/Field Mouse, bearing in mind its location).
