Walk Directions

The directions for this walk are also in a PDF (link above) which you can download on to a Kindle, tablet, or smartphone. OpenStreetMap (not OS) mapping is used in the PDF for licence reasons.

  1. From Cockfosters station lower ticket hall take the Car Park exit and veer right for 20 metres, to pick up the London Loop and follow a wide green path, with metal railings and a cemetary beyond on your left-hand side). After 300 metres, you come out into Trent Country Park.
  2. From here an anti-clockwise route around Trent Park is suggested.
  3. Having explored the park return back through the main entrance and turn right for 80 metres to then turn left, crossing over Cockfosters Road to go along Chalk Lane to reach the Cock Inn after 100 metres.
  4. Coming out of the pub, turn right along Chalk Lane. After 400 metres you reach Cockfosters tube station.
