Mist or fog patches developing overnight. Friday dry with sunshine.

This Evening and Tonight:

Dry with some clear spells overnight, allowing some mist and fog to re-form in places. Becoming chilly in rural parts by morning with a possible grass frost. Winds becoming light in strength. Minimum Temperature 3C.

Friday:

Any mist and fog clearing during the morning, then a generally dry and bright day. Perhaps remaining cloudier near windward coasts with light showers. Most sunshine probably across western areas. Maximum Temperature 16C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Early mist or fog patches on Saturday, then dry with some sunny spells. Sunday increasingly cloudy, with patchy rain arriving around dusk. Dry and bright on Monday with some sunshine.

Day 6 to 15

The start of the period will be mainly dry across most areas, although it could be rather cloudy. The best of the sunshine is likely in the southwest. However, the far north will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain, turning heavy at times in the northwest. It will also be windy across the north with gales possible in the far north of Scotland. Thereafter, it is likely to stay generally changeable across northern areas through this period with spells of wet and windy weather interspersed with brighter and showery spells. Drier and brighter conditions are likely in the south, particularly in central and southwestern areas of England and Wales. Temperatures are expected to vary around average by day, but some frost and perhaps some patchy fog is possible overnight.

Day 16 to 30

More widely unsettled conditions could develop during the beginning of November, bringing spells of wet and windy weather. There are signs that high pressure may build across northern areas towards the end of this period, bringing a greater likelihood of drier weather here and also overnight frost and fog. Changeable conditions are more likely to continue across the south and west. On the whole temperatures are likely to be below normal, but some short lived milder spells are likely in periods of wet weather.
