This was a very good 10.7 mile walk in London's Travel Card zones 5 and 6, initially in Surrey, but then entering the Borough of Bromley.

Like some other nearby walks of this proximity to London (Knockholt), this one was pleasantly rural and nicely wooded. Today, it was also very muddy underfoot!

The lunch-time pub option is about half-way, in Fickleshole, but picnicking facilities were difficult to find. There is a large garden outside the pub for those buying a drink though.

An undulating walk with pleasant views and not too badly afflicted by road or jet noise from nearby Biggin Hill. It might be good in the Bluebell season.
